Sunday Service at 9 and 11 am

All grown up.

some might call you 'adults'

MENS

Thursday mornings, 6:30-7:30 AM (yes, AM!), Bridge Church building

We enjoy coffee and food while spending time praying, talking, and reading the Word.

WOMENS

The first Monday of every month from 7pm - 9pm. (Church Building)

Our mission as a group is simply to build relationships... first with God; then with each other and in our communities. All of our events are focused on building relationships in our community.

JOY GROUP

J.O.Y. = JUST OLDER YOUTH

At The Bridge we believe in finishing well and that age is just a number. That is why we call our seniors ministry The Joy Group - Just Older Youth. Once a month we gather for lunch with the occasional guest speaker, sometimes a crazy theme party (like our Luau), or just a time of fellowship.

YOUNG ADULTS

The post-university young adults community group.

We meet Tuesday Nights at the Kasteel household for food, prayer, and sermon reflection.  Once or twice a month we combine with the 'younger' young adults for larger group events like beach volleyball, potlucks, or games nights.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
Acts 2:42

Community groups are usually between 5-15 people that meet at the church building or in homes. They are often centred around prayer, Scripture, and building friendships through shared life together. They are accessible to anyone and a great place to start if you are wanting to grow and get to know others. Here are some of the general community groups we have going on:

DISCIPLESHIP
GROUPS

Discipleship Groups involve a high level of commitment and a high degree of intensity for a small group of people (3-4 people maximum).  These groups work through a book called "Discipleship Essentials" by Greg Ogden.
If you are hungry for growth in your faith, a  discipleship group is the perfect step to take!

And let’s be clear: they are not just for people who have been Christians for a long time.

In fact, they are an amazing way for people new to faith or new to church to grow in their understanding of the fundamentals, as well as for long-timers to be refreshed and more deeply rooted. The key requirement is a thirst for growth!
You can form a discipleship group on your own by asking 2 or 3 people to join... OR you can ask Craig (craig@bridgenorthvan.ca) or Tiffany (tiffanybodlack@gmail.com) to connect you with others who are interested.
Freedom Session is a powerful 30 week journey, inviting you to rewrite your story with a God-inspired ending.

Freedom Session deals with relational breakdown, despair, sexual abuse trauma, unhealthy habits, food/sexual addiction, fear, perfectionism, guilt, shame, and more.

Through biblical teaching, small group discussion and personal reflection, Jesus will heal your heart and empower you to live a life of freedom and purpose.

FAQs

Is Freedom Session for me even though I'm not addicted to anything?
Yes absolutely!

Is there an age restriction?
Although we don't restrict younger people from doing the course, we do recommend that it is more geared towards people 18years and older. Should someone younger want to take the course, they would be accepted case by case and with guardian consent

Is there childcare?
Due to the nature and attention required to participate in the course, we ask that you arrange for childcare in your own home so you can give your full attention during sessions

What if I can't afford the course fee?
We don't want the course fee to be an obstacle in your freedom journey, so please contact us at freedom@bridgenorthvan.ca so we can discuss options.

How long does the course run for?
The full course is 30 weeks running from September 11th until Graduation on May 6th. This includes a break at Christmas, Family Day, and Spring Break

What if I have to miss a session?
We ask that you try to do everything possible to not miss a session, however we do understand that things come up. For this reason, our group facilitators will be equipped to run a hybrid discussion if you are sick or away.

What if I already booked vacation plans during the course?
As much as we'd like for you to commit to being here for the duration of the course, we understand that life goes on and plans may have already been made. For this reason, our group facilitators will be equipped to run a hybrid discussion if you are sick or away.
