make him known.

The Bridge strives to make an impact both locally and globally.

Locally we're partnered with Youth workers, Churches, Missionaries, and Family Education Programs. Globally we're involved in Church Plants, Orphanages, and teaching Christ to University students.

Jonny Yu -  Young Life
Young Life Medicine Hat is committed to reaching adolescents across Southern Alberta with friendship, fun, and a message of hope. We meet students where they are: at schools, on teams, and in everyday life, building genuine relationships that open the door to deeper conversations about purpose and faith. Through clubs, camps, and mentorship, we create spaces where every young person can feel known, valued, and invited into something bigger than themselves. Our heart is to partner with the community to support and care for the next generation. We believe every teen in Medicine Hat deserves the opportunity to experience belonging and hear that their life matters, and that they too can experience “life and life to the full” - that being a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Ramon and Christa -  MAF ( Mission Aviation Fellowship)
Ramon and Christa, originally from Germany, have called Canada home for several years. Ramon came to faith in Jesus during his teenage years and grew through the influence of family, church, and missions. Christa, raised in Peru and Ecuador as a missionary kid, gave her life to Christ as a child. Her early exposure to missions shaped her faith and understanding of God’s heart for the world.
In 2025, Ramon and Christa joined MAF and are currently preparing for overseas service in Papua New Guinea. Ramon will serve as a mission pilot, while Christa will focus on supporting their family and engaging in local ministry.

Our partner organizations

Christ Church Christian Care Centre
A South African Orphanage that gives love, compassion, and a home to orphaned children. Founded by Mike Sunker, since his passing Ajith and Sarah Sunker assumed the leadership and are now in their third year of coordinating the ministry. They have relocated from Berea to Centurion, near Pretoria.

christchurch@mweb.co.za

Ajith and Sarah Sunker are now in their fourth year of coordinating the ministry of the orphanage.  Last year a group from KATW (Kids Around the World) visited and with other volunteers, built a large playground. The old building in Johannesburg has failed to sell, and they have transferred it to another organization with the agreement that they will receive 50% of the price when it sells. This means there is still a challenge for finances, so please pray for God to prompt giving among their supporters.
Harvest Project
Harvest Project is in its 31st year reaching out to individuals and families in an attempt to help them cope with difficult life circumstances. The economic crisis, family break-ups, illness, job loss, addiction, and mental health issues can create feelings of desperation in anyone's life.
